Noodles, originally uploaded by Southcoasting.

On the third day of Christmas...

For lunch we decided to forego the reheated leftovers and had some Thai noodles in a pub, playing Guess Who? Quietly satisfying, pleasantly chilled (and not just the lager). Nothing really captures the downside of an extended Christmas vacation better than this song

"If I made it through Christmas without smoking
'Til your parents went to bed
If you made it through too
Without sticking your nail scissors in my neck..."

Ours was better, so far. Maybe I'm beginning to learn how to enjoy Christmas. Is this what getting older's like?
